PROGRAMS
UPLIFT is guided by a core set of convictions that determine what and how services will be provided.
These include:
· The Church is a critical element in community transformation with a strong history of providing compassionate care to those in need.
· Families and communities require a holistic approach, since needs are complex and multifaceted.
· Strategies should be developed with a view toward empowerment and long-term transformation.
· Services should meet felt needs, while building moral and spiritual foundations.
· Services should be offered with a family-centered approach that strengthens each member and the family unit as a whole.
· Education for children and adults is one of the major elements for success.
Goal: To provide educational enhancements that improve the academic performance of youth, ages 4 to 18.

empowers them toward self-sufficiency.

Goal: To provide encouragement to families by meeting short-term needs for food,
clothing and other necessities.
